MC4 Solar Coupling connector set

MC4 connector set to connect to your solar panel. You may use this to connect an extention lead to your solar panel

Suitable to solar cable 2.5 mm², 4mm² and 6mm² 

Main differences between MC4 and MC4 Evo:

• Voltage: The MC4-Evo 2 has a higher rated voltage of 1500 V DC, compared to the MC4’s 1000 V DC. This makes the MC4-Evo 2 suitable for larger, higher-voltage commercial solar installations.


• Current: The MC4-Evo 2 can handle a higher maximum current, especially with larger cable sizes. For example, with a 10mm? cable, the MC4-Evo 2 is rated for up to 69A, whereas the MC4 is rated for up to 45A (or 104A in some specific models).


• Surge Voltage: The MC4-Evo 2 has a higher rated surge voltage of 16 kV, compared to the MC4’s 12 kV.
